well it finally arrived, the little brown truck made a stop today and dropped off a triangluar box, inside is a well wrapped 4lb tube of stainless with grooves cut in it . I guess one could describe it as beautiful but that would better describe my wife, so lets just call it sexy . well that describes me wife too....one hot blonde babe. I must say I am impressed but also a little disappointed that the bore size didnt turn out like RBs batch did but dies are on the way.Now the work begins!.....Bill ;D

hillbill- Congrats! I be you can't wait to use your new drill bit. What size is it? I figure it must be for cutting about a 2" hole if it weighs 4lbs. ;D ;D

Bill, I well remember how excited I was to get my own fluted barrel; couldn't stop looking at it and through it. Don't be disappointed about the bore size; it was all a lottery, anyway, and I STILL think knurling will give you better accuracy in the long run.

Most expensive drill bit I ever care to buy---- 28" long and .800 on the business end; darn, it has a hole in it, looks to be about .450.

Richard, you might try to request the same dia as RBs batch, mine is too tight to get a unsized parker down, it would be nice to knurl only...Bill

Bill-I'm not sure if its any advantage like Harley said! Many have said the parkers are not round so a trip thru the die might be necessary anyways. The greatest accuracy does seem to come from knurled bullets.

Bill, I should have mentioned what Rexxer reminded me; every Parker I've miked has been out of round. It's just no big deal to resize and knurl, and the results are more than worth the effort for that bullet. I don't know about others, but I'm going to play with the XTP's, next.
