At this time (10/28/2011) what are my choices of recoil lugs for a Savage ML-II that is getting a new P-N barrel? Stainless
I just realized that it's the 2nd to last piece of the puzzle needed. Hopefully in the next 10 days Penny will tell me that the barrel is on it's way. If not, the ML-I will be on deck.

I get Savage recoil lugs from Fred Moreo at Sharp Shooters Supply. He sell a very nice parallel ground lug.

I got one coming from Luke too. I figure its a worthwhile investment considering the money already invested. Once i get a new stock and the bedding done, i don't wont to think what IF it would have made a difference.

GMB54-120,
It makes a big difference when bedding the lug I found out this weekend. I was really glad I used the tapered lug. Main reason is gun goes easily in and out of the bedding around the lug.
