Hello, everyone. I like to shoot cast bullets in my .22 Hornet single-shot rifle. I have a couple of early Lyman single cavity #225415 moulds. This little bullet shoots good, but both moulds drop slightly out of round and a bit undersized, .224"..I like them to be at least .225". I had Corbin make up a .226" swaging die for my reloading press. After lubing, bullets are lightly swaged to .226 dia. This does two things..brings bullet up to correct dia., and is now perfectly round, and squares the gas check perfect with base.
