The price of this ammo is sort of obscene. I have everything to reload except for dies and bullets. Wondered if anyone has had success with this round. Any favorite loads? Heard taper crimp is a must to avoid feeding problems and bullet shift.

I load my .380 LCP with 3.3gns W231 and a 100gn Extreme plated bullet. Seems to shoot alright. There's a lot of load data for the .380 that probably shoots just as well. I reload all my pistols.. .380, 9mm, 38spec. 357mag, and .45 acp. That's the only way I can afford to shoot them as much as I want. I just started casting bullets for the .45 and plan to do so for the 9mm and the .38... Use a slight taper crimp. Zen

Thanks for the info. Just ordered dies and bullets. I have a container of Unique I need to burn up, although using only 4.1 grains/round will take awhile.

I've loaded some .380 with unique also. 3.4gn shoots about the same as the 3.3gn W 231.... about 25fps faster. Both of these shoot in the 800-850 fps range with the 100 gn bullet. Zen
