Rick, If you are talking about cleaning/swabbing between shots the answer is definately yes. About a month ago my dad and I put about 40 shots through his Omega with BH209 and never touched it between shots. It was like loading a Savage shooting N120. You could tell it was loading a little tougher toward the end but accuracy was great from shot 1 to shot 40. Clean up was similar to what I see in my Savage. A patch or two with Hoppes #9 and some wire brushing for good measure then about 3 dry patches and it was clean as a whistle. Too bad this stuff is so d**n expensive

I actually meant over a extended period of time Tom.I sold my daughters Sav. and I am debating upon getting a .45 disc elite or disc elite .50 that I found or getting her a Ruger .44 mag carbine which is Indiana legal this year...she has shot the Ruger and really liked it but I told her she would miss out on muzzy season, that got her attention!

I would buy the 50 Disc Elite just because it's lighter for her. I would prefer the 45 for 200grn bullets. Watch for the new Knight to come out first. it might be really good.

My hunting group has found BH209 to shoot great out of our T/C guns (Omega, Triumph, & Encore). Left it loaded for a month during deer season after a fouling shot ... cleaned up easily with Hoppe's #9. No harm done. Still experimenting in the Knight Elite... it works OK, but getting a lot of primer fouling from Fed 209a's. Hopefully Knight will have new breech plug for BH209... soon.

Hopefully they will get on the job and get a breech plug that will work for the KRB7 to shoot BH209. All I here is it's coming.....it's coming. I've got two bottles of BH209 that I can't use in my Knight.

tar12, Owners of Knight Disc Extreme/Elite's are reporting hangfires with BH209, especially in cold weather when using the domed (convex) breech plugs. The Full Plastic Jacket concave plug used with a hot primer like Fed 209a and CCI 209M is more reliable, but still not as reliable as the T/C guns... right now.
The Knight Revolution and Rolling Block guns apparently need a re-design of their breech plug for use with BH209, which Knight is working on. (Knight recently came out with a new breech plug for their Vision, which Grouse gave a nice review here).
I'm anxious to see Knight's new rifle, the Disc Extreme Ultimate Slam (due out in May) which is made to give reliable ignition with BH209,,, but I'm more interested in their conversion bolt & breech plug from the Ulitimate Slam that will fit older Disc (bolt action) models.

Rob I can actually say the concave breech plug has been flawless for me with Federal 209A primers at -15 degreees wind chill.

As far as I know all the other Knights shoot BH209 just fine.
