Hillbill
You are as much a Craftsman as an Artist or vice versa. Nicely done.

I love seeing your "work". Its really hard for me to call a labor of love "work". I think when its "my time" to move up a notch, i may stick with the OEM laminate non TH on the 50cal and let "someone" work their magic on it. Then devote more resources to the Savage/Pacnor 45 after some range time and the season is over. zakjak221I couldn't shoot this weekend either due to rain. I was gong to take out all 3 SMLs out for a good workout on the sled and a few more bullets i wanted to try. I feel your pain since ive haven't had a chance to shoot the (new to me) Pacnor 45 and ive been dying to try one since i joined Dougs.

well I went to the range today with the owner of the last run blued savage and we shot several rounds and had to find something it liked and quick as he will be in Kansas a week from tomorrow. we settled on a 275 Parker BE in front of 69 grns of h-4198 grouping @ about 1 moa.
I didnt have time to shoot the other guns I took much.the above savage I got zeroed along with my boat anchor but didnt get to shoot any groups other than my new grendel upper with a kreiger barrel. last 4 shots in less than .4. it has 20 rnds down the pipe so i think I will be well pleased with it..

That should be a rocket and a great "bean field" load for a 50cal. They can be a bit much on meat damage if you dont hit the boiler room but are highly effective.
