question about 700 ml actions?

Is there a difference in any of the 700ml actions? Could you take a 50 cal 700 ml action & put a pacnor .45 barrel on it. Is there any difference in the mls(magnum) model action, or are the barrel & breech plug heavier? I am asuming that they are all the same ml short action but it would only be a stupid question if i didn't ask it right! lol

No difference, there is only blued, and stainless. The stainless ones have a small groove cut in the O.D. near the rear action screw that I assume is for ID when all may look the same before the chrome-moly ones get blued. All can be used for a conversion.

The 700 MLS models came with a 26" barrel as opposed to the 24" or 21" lengths. And Remington rated the MLS to use 150grs of BP subs. All the actions are identical except for materials.
