For those of you getting great results with these, how close is your final die setting to your land dimension?
Say my lands are .4515. What should I be sizing a bullet to for best results?

rangeball- i can't give you an exact measurement per bullet/land spec's.
i will say w/ parkers that a seating of my guessing is around 35-40lbs for very best accuracy,i shoot dirty & have noted it usually takes quantity 4 on a dirty barrel to set the die for the final setting. i also have noted many times when the resistance seem more consistent when just light enough that the "chattering is @ a minimum or non-existent,i'm quite sure this will vary with different bullets such as xtp's & solid coppers etc/ hope this helps!
i guess you could say i pay more attention to how the bullet seats the whole way down the bore vs. measurements my calipers cannot measure.

Deadeye after reading about #1,2,3 pacnors and then this one, You know "by Feel" if if its going to be a good shot or not sabotless. Experience can't be taught, but your input gives me and others a big jump on the learning curve, thank you. Rangeball ,good question, I'm interested also because I will be ordering one soon . I have found a natural gas line to shoot along 1500yd or 2milles. SHHHH...

as an added note,i have the luxury many do not* my range is 60 paces from my front door.
i feel for people that have to travel to a range** for the adjustable die i would want a portable set-up that could be mobile for bullet diameter adjustments meaning a press, arbor or something you can adjust @ the range.
i think i remember rkrobson traveling a hour or so to be dissappointed.

Deadeye have you noticed with temp differences that a bullet size that works great oneday lets say 70 degrees not work so well in 40 or visa versa, I would guess from barrel expansion or contraction. I would expect they would "feel" different loading. You have an Iron barrel, copper jacketed lead,or all copper bullet. I KNOW they have different expansion/contraction rates, but are they noticable to you?

Greenhorn, I've shot in 40 degrees and 85 degrees and have not seen any loading or accuracy differences. I think this is because were shooting with enough pressure to get the bullet obturated into the lands, and once that happens you've got what what it takes to shoot good. Ive also shot strings of 5 shots to see if accuracy would suffer and it did not, my gun is a heavy contour though. My gun will shoot a clean bore load right where the following fouled shots will be, all this with VV 120 powder. As to sizing, my gun came with a .449 die that I was instructed to run a Parker 275 gr through 2 times and run the Parker 325 grs 1 time. The sized bullets were .4495-7, so when I got my smooth Swinglock die in, I adjusted the die until I got the correct dimension. I then went and shot and made one more adjustment smaller, and they size and shoot very well. I've shot up to 30 shots without cleaning with no accuracy loss. I've only shot the Parkers sized through the smooth die as they're what Iam looking for in accuracy, speed and high bc bullet, Ray

"i guess you could say i pay more attention to how the bullet seats the whole way down the bore vs. measurements my calipers cannot measure." This has been my experience also. My mic can't tell the difference between too tight and just right. MY ramrod sure can though. I got one of these to go with my swinglock smooth die and adjustments at the range are a breeze. leeprecision.com/xcart/Breech-Lock-Hand-Press.html I haven't done solid coppers but have done alot of the jacketed bullets.
