I fired my first shot out of my .45 Pacnor today. It was just a test shot to releive any pucker factor and check the face of my breechplug nipple to see if the surface was square. The trim die I made worked great. In a few days anyone wanting to use it to trim your breech plug is welcome to it. I was pleasantly surprised with the recoil behind 58 grains of 4198 and a 195 grain Barnes. Tim Baldwin

interested minds would like to see pictures and more info. Especially in a couple weeks or so I will be finishing up my Remington build and will have to do my breach plug. Jon

My last pic. If it looks familiar its almost a carbon copy of Shivesy's build. The fluted bolt and scope being about the only difference. A big thank you to Shivesy and everyone else who has helped me along the way, Tim

Thanks guys. I shot it 4 times today to get it on paper so it will be ready when i get time. It was 96 degrees and i didnt have my cooling rod with me so i didnt try any groups. I cant get over how mild the recoil is with a 195 barnes with 61 grains of 4198 is. Tim
