Has anyone done a .45 caliber trajectory chart of any kind with the H4198 powder and Barnes 195 bullet? How about anyone useing a mil-dot scope for differant ranges? Any info would help. Thanks Kid...

my set up last year....savage pacnor 28".45 cal 15/55 duplex n110/ n130 @3000fps 200 sst/light blue harv
3'' high @ 100 dead on @ 200 6 3/4 low @300 27" low @ 400 this is real world shooting from last season...Bill

I did a trajectory chart with Sierra Ballistic Explorer. I hope it will transfer here. You should be able to get 2600-2700 fps with 58-60 gr H-4198. Not to hijack the thread, it's sorta related.
Is there a place where the real world bc of the commonly used .45 cal bullets are listed?
Once that data is known, and you shoot over a chronograph, it's easy to get a ballistic chart for your gun. Then all you need to do is verify it.

Only problem with that is: The Mfg.'s tend to inflate their numbers Richard

So you fudge a little bit on the bc,TrbO did that when he was getting a ballistic turret made for his scope,but he ALSO went out and shot at different ranges to get real world data.
