They look great. What does it take to install them properly and safely with out worrying about any weakness in the bolt handle? please give me more info. Again they look great. Jon

Jon, the existing bolt knob has to be cut down and worked down to 5/16, then the stub has to be threaded to accept the knob. the joining surfaces then have to be be blended in via a file and sanding etc. when I do another I will post some pics of the process. its not that difficult but you cant afford to mess it up or you will have to have another handle put on.....
as far as weakness goes they are very strong, as strong as a 5/16" bolt. nothing has been compromised as far as strength goes...
