Today wanted to try to get more speed from yesterdays 10/50 4759/H4198. planed on shooting 11/50 12/50 & 13/50 4759/H4198. Yesterdays 10/50 avg 2651 ES 26, 2657 ES27, 2650 ES26. Today 12F warmer 11/50 avg 2741 ES 17, 12/50 2767 ES 50. Groups were poor with noslers and primers seperated with the 12/50 duplex, so i decided not to shoot the 13/50 and shot straight 50gns H4198 for the last group which shot best of the three. Does 90 and 110 fps faster with 1 and 2 gns more of 4759 and 12F warmer seem right?

I thought your speeds yesterday were about 70fps slow, but it is possible for barrel differences to give that much. Guessing that lighting difference from yesterday to today can do this. But just a guess.
The 10/50 load should have been about 2740 or so.

I just got off the phone with Marty a few minutes ago and I plan to try the 195's at 300 with the 10/50 load. Just got some rem.180 gr bullets from him yesterday and plan on trying them with the same load and the 200 xtp's.Then I plan to try the 64 grs of 4198 with the 200 xtp's to see what I get with them again. All of these will be at 300yds.I think maybe I can get them all on my target board guessing at the scope settings??? Dennis if my chrony works I will post the speeds that I get.
