Anyone using them and which one would be best for commonly used SML powders? The only other reloading i do atm is with the same powders...5744....Re7...N110...N120 and 4759 in the near future. I may also use it with BH209 since ive been told its safe to use unlike most subs and smokeless powder dispensers.
Ive looked at nearly all of them and the RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 combo appears to be a good one. Ive even seen it in action at my local Grafs and they have it at a pretty good price plus a $50 rebate. It would end up being a little cheaper than the Lyman system after the rebate.
Still kinda pricey but im already looking for a new scale and thought one of the combo systems might be worth the added convenience.

I have a RCBS powder pro digital scale used with the RCBS powdermaster powder dispenser and and I really like it. I can load approx 60 powder vials an hour within two tenths of a gr.

I'm using the chargemaster 1500, punch in your numbers and go. some people claim it's slow but I find it just about right for filling vials. Highly recommend it.

Thanks guys.
Like i said, i saw it at Grafs in action. It was a tiny bit slow but way faster than a hand operated powder tickler and a beam scale. Ive got hundreds of powder tubes and i hate the nights i have to fill more than 50 of them.

I hate to be the lone decenter, but I wouldn't trust a scale that runs on batteries. I use a little Dandy RCBS powder measure for my booster loads and a Lyman#55 for my main charges--checked and rechecked with a beam scale. You'll never run out of gravity as you can with voltage. Hopefully you guys keep a check on the electronic scales with a balance beam scale from time to time just for safety??

Scott.........I have had my Chargemaster for several years now and love it! I will say this, I tend to use my Harrels powder measure for most of my ML vials. I mainly use the chargemaster for long range CF loading. I am not convinced that a tenth of grain makes a big difference in the ML Richard

I have the Lyman1200 DPS 2 Got it just for my ml didn't want to screw up the power took that problem out of the equation . It is fast and has programmable memory to store and recall loads. i think its great.
