On 1/11 I ordered my 45 cal barrel and never asked how long it would take because with all the reading I do on here I knew it would take as long as it takes so I was good with that and I was in no hurry for it. About six weeks ago my barrel arrived and what a beautiful piece of work it was but upon inspection I found that one of the dimensions I asked for was incorrect so I called Pac-Nor and the girl I talked to (Not Penny) looked at the print I sent compared to what I received and agreed that it was incorrect and sent me a shipper so I shipped it back and she said to give her about a week and she would get another out but here it is 5 months from the original order date and still nothing. I may be wrong but I would think that if you make a mistake you would get a replacement out as soon as possible to the customer and put them back to the end of the line.

I may be missing something, but have you called Pac-Nor for a explanation for this monumental scwew-up? 5 months? they could have walked it to your home and made the trip back.
Your more paitent than I am.

Pacnor usually does better than that, I would call Penny monday and voice my concerns and also pm Dave D and get him to ring their chime. they get a lot of business from the Dougs crowd....

Ok ..How about this... Before we air these thing's out on a public forum...Maybe we should try to handle it discreetly with the supplier first? And maybe discreetly ask DaveD to gently help out if things are amiss... If I read correctly over in another thread the complaining led to the supplier just dropping us....We dont want anymore of that...Do We? Drop

Lets get a couple things straight before anyone gets their undies in a bunch. I am not bitching about what has or has not happened but just stating the facts. I have not or will not ever tell anyone not to buy from Pac-Nor because for the hour I got to look at the first barrel that was sent to me it was a work of art and I am sure I will be happy with it whenever it gets here. All I am stating is what has happened and that I am not happy with the amount of time it has taken to get this straightened out and that is it and the truth!

wk did the right thing by posting what he did. He's not bashing PacNor, but now, hopefully things will be resolved.

McGowen did not drop anybody...they came to the realization that a standard barrel offering for the 700 ml could not be achieved due to the manufacturing inconsistencies of the Rem 700s. They will happily accommodate you if send the receiver in to be fitted.

I think I read that post to say something about " Due to all the problem's keeping everyone happy, Mcgowen/Savagebarrels has decided to stop selling ML barrel's." I never said or accused anybody of bashing anything or anybody. Just that MAYBE things like this could be handled other than aired out in a public forum from the start...then It leads to me accusing someone of bashing, I fail to see anywhere in my post about that.. I think I worded it rather gently myself. Just advised that their might be better ways to handle it first. Things can get easily taken out of context here...as you can see Thanks I'm done with this thread ;D Drop
