I dug through old threads and found some info on the .50 cal Thor bullets, but I am curious about the .45 cal version. I don't think the .45 has been out that long. I seem to remember Thors only being available in .50 a year ago or so. Has any body tried the .45's? Joe

The Thor site lists .45 available in 200 0r 250 grains. With dia of .454 or .456, Would either of these fit a converted H&R 45/70?

From the lack of response I gather the .45 Thor has not been used much by our members. I thought they may have made sabotless shooting a no muss, no fuss alternative. I hate being the guinea pig. Joe

littlejoe I wasn't aware they were out yet. I know Terry was working on them for some time. If he's now offering them, I'm sure he'd send you a sample pack to see what your individual gun likes best. From my .50 experience, the closer the bearing surface to your land spec, the better they will shoot. My douglas .50 SMI loves the .500 250gr.
