Nice, Bill! Is that a ffp? What reticle? I have a 6-24 PST ffp moa reticle on backorder for 14 weeks now for my 6.5Grendel AR.

2fp moa reticle. it came down to it or a 4.5x14 zeiss conquest rapid z 600 I liked the 30 mm tube and all the features on the vortex, that and I have always been a guniea pig to try something different so it will be tested against the conquest at first opportunity (maybe tonight) and I will let everyone know how it fares

Neil at cameraland said the guys buying them say they are as good or better optically than the zeiss, he also said they have hands down the best warranty out there. I will find out on the first count in a couple hours, hopefully I will not test the second. Neil and Doug at cameraland are great guys to do business with also...

Does it have the new satellite uplink... Looks to have all the bells and whistles Bill I'm looking at those conquest pretty hard but your scope looks very impressive , the turrets are what stands out the most in functionability and the illuminated reticle is pretty cool feature.also. You did your homework, I hope it stands up to the zeiss's. The moa reticle will work well on big hold over long range shots , I do like there are subtensions above centerline so you could zero in on a high mark and go from there , I think you got alot of BANG for your buck ,Bill. Let us know how it performs for you. I lost my anchor on a wreck this week you got any spares? Greenhorn

699.99 for 2nd fp
well just got back from the range and will post pics and such tomorrow but the conquest wins the best glass contest. better color and clarity all the way till dark. the conquest is a 4.5x14x50 so it was pretty much apples to apples. the viper is good and has more features but the sight picture goes to the zeiss...
more later...Bill
