I have some 300 gr. XTP bullets I want to shoot and was wondering if the red crush rib or the black crush would be better ? Plan on trying 43 grains of sr4759 IMR for power since I already have some . Any thoughts or suggestions ?

More than likely you will need the red with .452 bullets, most use the black for .458 bullets.

The black smooth harvesters also worked very well with 300 gr xtps in my .50. As Dave W suggests, the black crush rib would probably be too loose for .452 bullets but is very popular with .458 bullets.

I too liked the smooth black harvester with .452 bullets in my old 50 cal. Give 'em a try. I recall more than one member saying they called Harvester to discuss sabots and Harvester sent them a combo pack so they could try each to see which fit the best.

The short smooth black Harvester sabot and a .452" 300 gr. Hornady SST is THE load in my .50 cal. Savage 10ML-II. But, my gun is a few years old and your gun's barrel may differ from mine.
