What has everyone's experence with the PowerBelt bullet in the smokeless muzzleoder wheither .45 or .50 caliber. Thanks kid...

I have not shot any myself but i believe the genral consensus is stay away from them. For the 50 i think most are shooting XTPs, SST, FTX, Rem JHP, Barnes MZ and im sure i missed a few. The 45 most are shooting XTPs, Nosler JHP, SST, Barnes MZ and hopefulley Rangeballs new bullet.

The powerbelts are a soft lead lightly plated bullet. As such I'm not sure they're up to smokeless pressure unless the load is kept very mild.
If you like the sabotless aspect in a .50 take a look at the thor bullets.

Also, they fit Soooooooooooooooooo loose, you will probably not get ignition Do not waste any money on them, period! Richard

Savage says NO PBs with smokeless and i cant imagine why anyone would considering they grenade at even sub speeds.
