Pressure differences can make all of the difference in group size!This is a major cause of enlarged groups. Not the only factor but one to look at first.Try shooting a tupperware stocked gun on a less than ideal shooting platform...you will chase your tail trying to get lined out! As far as breech plug maintenance goes I will go 20-35 shots depending on powder being used at the time before running the 5/32 bit through. I like to start with a.029 vent and discard once they reach .035. Consistency is the key in all that you do.

:)Dennis I clean my gun about every 150 shots or so. My plug is a short lrm plug so at that time I clean the flash hole but I wouldnt clean the plug till accuracy goes away and keep track for future cleanings.
