About to startwork on the white "bison" that is new to me. It needs bases and rings for the scope. I have stripped the stock and will be doing a camo job on that soon. Any advce on how best to put a base on that stock. It seems to be a very open grain type of wood like pawlonia or birch etc... I have it stripped and now need to stabilize and fill the grain. I'll keep U up to date on progress as I have decided to do a "Jaguar" type camo pattern on it! The barrel is blue. But I may do a paint on that too. How to fill the grain and stabilize the wood? That is the question? 10
