Getting ready to make up "primer holders" for my Petes BP. Will the 45acp work OK sith the large pistol primers? OR should I get some 308 bolt head size rifle brass and cut them down? I figure make up a K and don't worry about new ones for a couple of years. Mostly I'll shoot 4759 and 4198 in moderate power hunting loads. After reading the posts about how to make these things up I don't wanna have to go through that too often. Any chance somebody "sells" them all done and consistent and ready to prime? Thanks, and best to all, Bob

:)bob use rifle cases and cut them down to .890 then throw ever one on your plug and measure them and put them in piles. Use the biggest pile for headspacing . Use fed 215's they are the hottest.

A LR primer works fine in an ACP case. They also work in a Savage boltface but not so well in a Remington as I recall. The web is less consistent on the 45 cases and you will need to go through more to get a good supply unless you machine the web to a uniform thickness, in which case they all will work edge.

Im using standard WLP in 45 cases. mines lighting 4227 and it worked the other day in 25* weather. if it works with that powder it should work with about anything

I'm working on getting 500 Lapua 308 cases done. I'm not sure of eta and price. I obviously don't need 500 for my self. I will let you know what they cost me and that would be the price to any one on the board. Jon
