Has anybody had good results with BL-C II and 155gr bullets in their 308. I worked up a really good load in my rifle with Varget but unfortunately every one in my area is out of Varget right now. I do have some BL-C II on hand to try. I've heard it is pretty temperature sensitive though and I'll be using the data as a backup to my Varget. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I believe it was developed for military loads. Don't have my records with me but I loaded some 130 gr FMJ for my son that was very accurate with this powder. He was using a Remington 700 SPS and at 200 yds it was deadly. Varget is good. I use Accurate 2520 for most all my loads now..it simplifies my life. I can use it for 8mm, 30-06, Jap .303, Russian 7.62x54r and even my varmint .204 Ruger.

Well I went ahead and loaded some up for my DPMS LR 308. I started at 44.5gr and worked my way up to 47.5gr increasing in .5gr increments. 47 grains yielded around 1/2" for five shots at 100yards. But all the rounds were within 1" so nothing to complain about. I'll probably stick with the Varget but the results with BLC were equally impressive. ;D
