I got this in this week and tested it out today. This is for reaming the case head thickness on your 45 acp length cases for Petes/Edge plug. Absolutely fantastic. I sent my Forester Case Trimmer to "True Cut Tool" in New Carlisle, Ohio. You simply replace your case trimmer shaft with this carbide cutter. The cutting end is .375 dia. I used the shortest Forester timmer base available. You simply replace shaft with your origianl when you want to trim cases again. Along with using 99% of your cases you true the inside case head as well. Hope this helps someone, Ray

No, you could give them the dimensions, they're an Amish machine shop that is very knowledgeable. I just wanted them to understand what I needed, kendall is the one to talk to. Phone number is 937-964-1603, Ray

Ray thank you. Now I need to order a trimmer and necessary accessories. This new to me since I've never done any brass reloading. Jon

Jon, I know you could use a drill press if you had a way to keep the case held in place. In that case you could use a .375 mill end. They had to take a 1/2" carbide mill end and grind the shaft down to .490 to fit my trimmer and grind the cuitting end to .375. I already had the trimmer but ordered a short base ($17) to decrease the operating length. If you don't trim cases, It might be cheaper to order the pieces only, you need collet (holds cases), base, carbide mill end and stops for mill end to allow for adjustment. One reason I went this way was that in ordering Lapua cases twice, they varied .002 between the majority that matched. On my Munden 45, Justin cuts the inside case head to .165 thickness, which is removing .020 off of my Lapua. I will only have to remove .005 to allow 99% of my cases to work.It has another application thats not been discussed, but if you did deepen your case milling allowing for a longer nipple(trimmed less), if the pressure of these high loads cuts the face of nipple where your getting blowby, Justin has warned me of this on his gun, you could trim the nipple face clean and then mill new cases to fit. Iam only going to do 100 cases per gun for this reason. I know Pete can replace the nipple, but you might be in a situation where time is an issue(hunting season). Ray

Richard that looks like what I need. I could put that on the mill and have the best of both worlds. Jon

Jon.......I have a friend who has been a benchrest shooter for years and that is all he uses to trim cases. It will accomodate any size case head. Richard

Jon, I've used one of those Forester collets that Richard indicated. I once trimmed 2500 .223 cases to use in my .222Rem . It makes quick work out of a somewhat tedious process. If you have a drillpress it's the way to go.

Mountionman. Thank you It's ashame I have problems that don't let me do what I once could do. I have a drill press but it is so old and wore out I wouldn't trust for more than drilling a hole. But I do have a bridgeport that with some help to set it up. It will work out well. Thanks again for the input I need it. Jon
