I wonder if this bullet has the flat base> also wondering about accuracy and term performance. I have some older sst but did not want to waste time finding a load if the new ones do not shoot well due to a change in the base. Thanks Rusty

Hornady .40 cal XTP/ smooth blue sabot. That is what I'm using in my Encore conversion. Got 3 deer with it last season. Shooting a very mild load but very accurate for me. I did a post about how the conversion shoots. Rusty, glad you'r still kickin around. I'll be that way sometime in the next month or so and will try to get with you and have a confab. My kid is graduating from JMU and I gotta go back to fishing to make some $ so really busy here. Best, Bob

The base on the new Nosler 10mm/200gr HP is even flatter. The edge is almost sharp at the transition to the bearing surface. Im getting ready to try them out this weekend compared to the XTP. At only $44/250 they are worth a try.
