Would a 200 gr bullet shot in a sabot kick the same as a 200 gr bullet shot sabotless everything else being the same?

I think the weight of a sabot is about 7 0r 8 grns.Since you are accelerate that much more weight it will kick harder. But you probably cant feel the difference.Billy

If you use the same load for both applications, the saboted load will likely kick slightly more since it is rare for a sabotless load to equal the velocity of the saboted load using the same charge weight. Usually about a 100fps more velocity with the saboted load.

I would guess because the sabot seals faster and better than the sabotless bullet, I am not sure you would notice the difference.

Differences will be negligible as long as powder volume and bullet weight are equal.
