you guys always include the primer used. When testing for an accuracy load, should you try all primers available? I thought the primer just assured ignition. How big of roll does it play in your group size? Maybe just another dumb question

I've tried tweaking good loads by substituting CCI M's for Feds and see no noticeable difference in group size.
Maybe a mediocre load could be helped with a primer substitution, I have never tried it though.

Rusty...........I never mention what primer I use? ? (I do however use Winchester 209's all the time) But if you look a few weeks back, I did run some tests using four different primers and the difference was "0" I think TGinPA is listing the primer simply so he and deadeye can compare apples to apples Richard
