that the 195 gr barnes just didn't shoot good out of his 45 with H 4198. I have shot over 100 of the New barnes 195 gr bullets using H 4198 from 54 to 64 grs and now I am going to test the 200 gr sst.----.Question------- How many of your pacnor 45s shoot tighter groups with the200 gr sst than the Barnes using H 4198? Mine shoots the same. If I keep all the other components the same and Just switch the bullets.

At 100 - 200 yds they are close to being the same. At 300yds the SST's seem to shoot tighter. My testing at 300yds hasn't been as extensive as the shorter distances. Zen

Not quite apples to apples but the same bullet, I believe sw found the 200ssts shoot the best out of his .40 over others.

:)rusty my smallest groups at 300 have been with the Barnes but they both shoot accurately.

I would have to give the edge to the SST's but would consider both "deer good!" Richard
