We were back at the range this morning and it was a beautiful day but with some wind. When I got up at 4am it was 61* and when I got home it was 67* so it was warm to boot. I put another scope on my 45 and shot 3 different groups at 300 yds,Well one group was just 2 shots on the paper. It was N110@10 grs and H322@68 grs, using the 195 barnes flat based 2 shots were about 2 in apart but don't know where number 3 went,it wasn't on the paper.I just don't think my 45 likes the 195's. One group was with Richards tri-plex and it shot really good.Got a 1 1/2 in group with it. Next was the 110/322=10/69,which went 2 in group. Wished I had taken my cooling rod with me,I used Richards a few times but I hated to bother him. Tried some barnes 285 spitfires in my 50 cal and they went down the barrel to easy but didn't group worth a hoot either. Shot a 3-shot group with the rem 300 gr using 64 grs of R-7 and it was the best group with the 50. Zeroed in a 223 rifle out to 300 yds and shot a 3/4 in group with my target rifle at 300 yds and that was it for the day.

Very good results, don't guess you got any speeds on the 10/68 or 10/69?

with the 200sst and 10/69 I got an average of 2973 on the 8th. The tri-plex today was 2812. Don't remember the 10/68 shot it with the 195's. I had forgotten my note book this morning so didn't write anything down today. But thinking the 10/68 was close to the 10/69. On the 8th I had shot 5/69 and average was 2779 and 15/69 was 3109 and gave me a 2 1/4 in group at 300. Want to try the 5/69 and see what it does at 300.

Can't argue with those groups, very nice edge.
