I loved to coon hunt. I had a female Walker I got as a pup an old Black an Tan mix, I think with a beagle. We had a lot of fun really enjoyed training the Walker. She was the only Walker I ever seen that wouldn't chase deer. The BT would run a deer no more than 10 minutes and come back. That wasn't so bad. Had a Buddy that we left his dog in the woods more than we brought it home. Had to give it up when I started working nights. My Chief Deputy has a young Red Bone. Liked the video. Oh just a side note I took my young bride coon hunting once. Shot a coon out and it landed close to her feet still quit alive. I shut the light off so I wouldn't blind the dogs while the fought it. Long story short she never went again. Does your daughter like to run the dogs? Warren

You have a good eye for selecting dogs. Nice photo of your children. It is great you can hunt together. It takes a lot of homework and boot leather to find quality dogs. There just is no short cut! I really enjoy the time with the kids. They will soon have lifes of their own and I will surely miss these times!
