After reading some old posts on the swinglock (smooth and fullform configurations) die while I eagerly await my Pac Nor barrel now 10 weeks and counting I got to wondering if any of you who got this die in either configuration had any further comments or suggestions on either the die itself or the concept of sabotless as compared to saboted. The full form die seems like a good idea and if it increases consistency and lowers the force required in seating pressure would certainly warrant a try. Just wondering if any of you have had further opportunity to experiment since the 5 page post in Oct. I will start out shooting the new barrel saboted due to the fact that I stocked up on components while waiting for shipment but I am sure to look into this sabotless concept further.

I am debating on this very subject. My understanding is that the full form die is for 458 caliber bullets only. The smooth die is for the 452's but I believe it will do the 458's as well.

I have the smooth style but have not got to test it. Hopefully in April or so.
