Would like to see pic of a Rem 700ML bolt fluted while using the Hunter 700ml bolt conversion. Getting ready to order my Pacnor 45 cal barrel . Thanks,Tim

I would like to see one as well, but I don't think the helical flutes will work with the bolt retaining groove.

If even possible, the flutes would have to be very shallow.

I have been meaning to call Karl Kampfield and see if he can do it, maybe straight flutes would be better than spiral? I also think he would have to stop or go VERY shallow when he got to the nose conversion. Might not look all that great.

Fred at SSS is offering a "fishnet" fluting. It cuts down the surface area, which is the reasoning behind fluting the bolt, and doesn't snag the rounds in the mag on a CF repeater (which is why I never liked it). Plus he offers to powder coat the cuts. Your bolt and $55 for color.

Great price, I just don't care for the fish net. I've never had an issue with my Ti CF in regards to catching on other rounds in the mag. The Rem Tis are spiral fluted.
