deadon, I am not qualified to post on this by experience, but, from what I have read on here, most dump the tan and buy Harvesters Light Blue smooth.

In my opinion the tan sabots are all over the place on dimensions. I have not had good accuracy and when I mic. them they run from .455 to .458. with a .400 bullet. I noticed one would load hard and then the next easier so when I checked them I quit using them.

Are the tan sabots made by MMP? I had the same problem with the MMP orange sabots with .458 bullets. I only use Harvester's now.
