Gunsamerica has some super deals on .45s and .50s. Knight Discs. Some extreme, some elites. Some are FPJ some are orange discs. ALL under $250! By the looks, some of the blued 45s might be the 1:20 twists. GMB54120 posted on another forum.

No the Fluted are Original DISCs. I bought the last 45cal SS one he had before i posted the link ...i think You can tell by the shape of the stock if you dont have a closeup pic.

No you didnt. You got what you wanted and Knight is not making any more! The new 50s are upwards of $600 and 45 is more suited for whitetail hunting I believe.
above should read "long range" whitetail hunting. added

1:30 twist and red fpj, the 1:20 is the humpback looking stock w orange primer discs i believe There was also a running change to the twist rate in the Super DISC .45s from 1:20 to 1:30. The Serial # for the twist rate change is 005043 for Stainless and 002291 for Blued. Anything before these number is a 1:20.

None of them were 1-20. i spent quite a bit of time on the phone going over serials. The sub 500 serials were on some Elites not Originals.
My Original DISC SS has the lowest serial number of the "Original" 45cals and it was just over 6000. He does (or did) have a sweet NIB Original 50cal with the shorter 24" barrel for only $199.

You guys will love your Elites. I have one also (sub 1000) and its a hell of a shooter. Add the Lehigh when they are back in stock and you will be rockin!!!!!
The Originals are extremely nice too and some people prefer the stock on them. The triggers are sometimes a tiny bit better too. I have all the parts to allow them to accept the Lehigh or Knight NFPJ so if you already have a newer gun, you can usually just swap out bolts and breach plugs to use the red FPJs or NFPJ systems.
ANY NIB DISC based gun for his prices are a great deal. I got the Original just because its one of the few i dont have already. he told me they come with everything in the box as they came from Knight.

Laminate for an Elite might be hard to find. I dont think ive ever seen one. A small amount of inletting an Extreme laminate stock is the easiest way to get one. Or a LRH stock should fit but they are big.
I think Knight does have some laminate Extreme stocks for sale if you call them. They are offering one on the new line up.

lastofthebreed They should be available soon. They dont update the site very often. Call them and ask for Gordy. They are offering one laminate on the new Extreme and all LRHs had them so they should have some or have them soon. The new Mountaineer are all laminates but im not sure if those will fit. They should fit an Extreme. The older LRH stock might fit Elites and with a little work they should fit an Extreme but they are heavy. Just tried the Extreme composite TH on my new Original DISC. Its a perfect fit too.

gmb54120, I do have one of the original disc (orange disc) serial # 000777, I was hoping on getting another but due to leaving for work I missed out. I did get the last .45 from Guns America, I don't know if its the Extreme or the Elite, either way its a great buy. I'll have to wait till next weekend to open the package due to having to work out of town next week.

They had them labeled as Extreme Light Contour. #DL656C for example is a blued Elite on the Gunsamerica ad. Knights starting with DE are real Extremes IIRC. Those were actually the best deal they had but i already had a nice 45cal Elite. I really wanted a 1-20 Original in SS but i couldn't pass it up for the price. I got an Original SS in the 6000 range so its another 1-30. They still list one Original 50cal in blue with a 24" barrel for $199. www.gunsamerica.com/953260363/Guns/Rifles/Knight-Rifles/KNIGHT_DISC_RIFLE_50_BLUE.htm
