Haven't read anything from Kevin in a long time. For some reason I always worried about him. Hope he is fine. Ozark

Yes, I believe that is his situation. He sold me his blued MLII and at that time told me he was getting into air guns. I believe he sold the gun to generate $$ for the air gun. Richard

Well good morning guys!! All is great down here in Tennessee. I had to cut back on my favorite past time to give more time to taking care of my ailing mother. She was diagnosed with alzheimer's dementia a little over a year ago. I moved in with her and take care of everything that needs taking care of including but not limited to meal preparation, medication administration, bill paying, yard and house upkeep, etc etc. Plus work at a local drug and alcohol treatment center as counselor so my life demanded that I get my priorities straight.......a troublesome area for me. Anyway... Finding places to hunt, and to shoot my guns around this county has gotten to be a major task. I would get targets set up and take my first few shots and here would come someone driving up with that look of: Why are you here? Please leave. And this is on public property during the closed season. So I got me a high dollar airgun and target scope, learned the basics, and compete in Field target matches in Middle TN. Pretty fun. But how I miss the smell of burning H322! And N110! And looooong shots. (Airgun FT maximum range is 55 yards). So I'm constantly checking the classifieds for a inexpensive deal of a lifetime Savage stainless ML2. I have all of my ML paraphenelia...scales. powder, bullets, etc. I miss everyone here, but I never really left. I'm glad that we got a new message board. Anway, Hello to all!! Happy shooting! Kevin Here's a report of our last match: www.network54.com/Forum/451309/thread/1235256860/The+%26quot%3BWidder+Stephens%26quot%3B+match+report++%26lt%3Bpics%26gt%3Bwww.network54.com/Forum/451309/thread/1235397065/More+%26quot%3BWidder+Stephens%26quot%3B+FT+pics

Kevin, it good to see you back on the board. Don't be a stranger, even you don't have a ML at the moment.

Kevin, Sorry to hear about your mother. She is blessed to have a son like you during difficult times.
Wow, they are some fancy looking airguns. Steve

Wow, they are some fancy looking airguns. Steve Mine is an Air Arms TX200 .177 cal. It cost 549 bucks but will stack one on top of the other. It's a spring piston powered gun. Some of the guys use PCP (pre- charged pneumatic) , and they are real expensive but have a definite advantage of zero recoil. Thanks to everyone for your kind words and to my friend Ozark for his concern. Kevin

Funny I just read this. Last weekend a buddy brought over his PCP airgun its called an FX revolution airgun. Silencer on the end and everything. Holy cow I never realized a guy could dump that much money in an air gun. It is also BIG. But it way cool. I was hitting a beer can at 75 yards leaning on a tree just as fast as I could pull the trigger. I really think these things will grow in market share of 22's in the future. Easy to see how these things will catch on!
