For your builds, what are you guys using for rings and bases? I have been looking hard at the one piece TPS (Tactical Precision) base and their rings. I was thinking the one piece might strengthen the action just a tad (Rem 700ML). Open for suggestions.

Usually most Savages (CF and ML) I have seen will get tighter groups with a one-piece base. Maybe just a tad but a improvement.
TPS makes good stuff but when dealing with the extra recoil you want full width cross slots. The TPS and other makers will put a groove down the middle so the recoil lug/cross bolt of the ring only catches a slight amount. As a result something gets pounded. Better one-piece mounts are the Warne Tactical, Farrell, EGW HD line and now Murphy Precision. You also have to remember that these mounts are picatinny with the wider cross slots. If you use weaver style rings make sure to push them forward during installation and make sure they do not come loose. With .050 of slop if the rings come loose you will slam a scope to death quick. A picatinny style ring fits the groove better but you still have to make sure the ring is pushed forward

Someone had ask me if the one piece base would allow enough room to put the primers in the bolt nose. I looked at my 700ml and although it would make it tighter I thought it would work. This would be a concern to check out with someone who actually has the one pc. mount installed.

That is one of the advantages of the Farrell mount. Probly the highest one-piece mount so it gives extra clearance to get to the primer. The drawback is finding the right low rings to get the scope as low as possible and mounting short scopes can be a PITA.
The EGW HD mount while nice has a extension of about 1" on the front so mounting short scopes can be a pain also with these. Shooter has one on his 700ML in aluminum and isn't having any problems with 209s.
The Deadnutz set-up has the advantage of being a solid unit and if you want to trim every ounce of weight it is the one. But taking the scope off during cleaning or easily switching is out. Also it kinda restricts you to tube size, if you want to upgrade later from a 1" to a 30mm you have to buy a new mount.
Myself, I'm switching everything over to milspec picatinny rails so if I want to swap optics around there is no problems.

Just bought a stainless 10ML-II. Bought some Millett bases at the gun shop (2 hours away). Tried to put them on my rifle and discovered that I need a curved base at the rear. The Millett bases I bought "Universal two-piece bases for Savage 110" have a curved one for the front but a flat one for the rear. I need two curved bottom bases. Not too fond of Weaver. Does Millett make a base for the 10ML-II with both of them curved.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

What you bought were bases for a pre-accutrigger Savage. I quit buying anything from Millet after bad experiences with their rings. My favorite bases are Burris Extreme Tacticals. Bed any bases on a Savage, the top of the action has been sanded, and is very inconsistent. The actions are usually tapered and cause ring alignment issues, so use Burris Signature Zee rings or lap the rings you use. The recoil lug usually stands proud of the action because of the sanding removed too much material from the action. The front bottom edge of the front base needs ground a little to clear the lug.
