I've removed the iron sights from my stainless ML10 when I put a scope on it a few years ago. At that time, I got some blued set screws to fill the screw holes. The gunsmith sneered at me when I asked if he had them in S/S so I took what I could get!
Does anyone have or know where I can get some S/S set or fill screws for my ML10?
Not a big deal. I'm not a perfectionist....I'd just like to have everything match, if possible!

just fillem up with wax, rub a white candle into the holes or better yet get a kids grey or silver crayon and rub into the holes. If you ever need to reuse just use a heat gun and melt the wax out. That's what I did.

PM me your address, I'll mail you a couple ss screws. Do you need one for your ramrod thimble or is it still on?

I took a small (maybe #6) lead shot and with a punch, peened it into the hole and then carefully trimmed it off with a knife or fine file. It just about matches the SS. Richard

I've had a couple guys PM me wanting to know where to get the screws. Savage and Remington screws are 6-48. They are available from Brownells by the dozen, stainless #080-533-961 $13.99, blued #080-533-648 $8.99
