Bulge the barrel, if it is brass or aluminum it shouldn't

didnt appear to damage the barrel but havent shot it yet bought the gun a cva kodiak pro mag then was told that the ram rod was shot out by a friend of the seller

Pull the breech plug and look down the barrel. Damage should be easy to see with a light.

Bet you got a real good kick I once shot a Ram Rod out of a X150 Winchester which was made by CVA and the gun still shot excellent Never did find the Ram Rod When I shot mine I got a Scope mark on my nose Boy that looked ugly for awhile I still see the scare to remind me To pay more attention while shooting instead of trying to hold coversations with other shooters Hope you are alright

check the barrel by bullng the breech plug and pushing a bullet and sabot combo down slowly feeling for any loose spots. this would indicae a bulged barrel. If you are in doubt, ALWAYS have a compitent gunsmith check.
