Where can I find 2 Remington ML nipples for factory 209 conversion. I have firing pin assembly and 2 breech plugs. Thanks for any info.

xp100This is the factory 209 nipple.... It is not the best but if you have a facory hammer installed this the one you have to use... This is the Cabela's/Canadian nipple, but you have to have the matching hammer to use it... I think the one jag linked you to is the Canadian type

Correct, he would need their kit to use the nipples they sell. Their discription is a little misleading as it says " The Remington 700ML 209 replacement nipple".

So is there a real advantage to wrapping the breech plug in teflon tape? I know some used to do tis with the Savage, I never thought it neccessary as I used Lock-tite brand copper never sieze in the stick and it worked great. But is there something I am missing here? Thanks!

The Teflon is soooooooooooooo much easier to put on and no mess.
