Has anyone tried these in the Model 10-2? I have a few and I am tempted. I have some MMP 458/50 sabots to go with this bullet.

I got very good 100yd groups using 68grs Rx7 and a remington STS primer while using your same sabot. It dropped 2" less at 200yds than with my go-to load using a Rem .458" 300HP with everything else the same. They hit hard and are very accurate. Good Shooting.

I used these this year, very accurate in my gun with the orange mmps but others find the mmps too loose. Shot them over 63 grains of Rx7 with great results. Mountain, do you know your velocity with your load? 63 grains was enough for my shoulder

Impact velocity about 1900 fps. You can figure out what range this would represent out of a Savage if you know your MV. This bullet traveled a couple inches short of the full length of the deer from front to back. Looked like excellent expansion and weight retention to me.
