Hi, have been reading all the posts and replies about BH209 and how it works better in a BP that has been converted to a vent liner...i have a Accura V1 factory plug that i would like to have this done to....does this help on an Accura V1 , and who does this install and how much approx. does it run? I have a plug made by a guy on another forum, that has a powder cavity in it, and it seems to work, but couldn't hurt to have one like this done....Thanks, rsbhunter

Ive tried 5 variations and its the best sofar. Plus its made from stronger steel. Im assuming you have one of Ron's Omega type plugs. They are VERY affordable. Cost of a OEM plug and vent liner was close to the cost. Roughly $25 total. If you go the vent liner route, set it just below flush. IMO that style worked the best in a modded OEM V1 breach plug. Its very clean and i never had a hang fire or fail to fire even with a WinT7 primer and a Powerbelt.

rsbhunterThese are two CVA plugs that I did and I believe they will shoot BH just fine. Besides the instalation of the vent liner the flash channel is opened to allow a greater volume of gas. This is the process i use. The really good thing about Ron's plugs are that he also head spaces them. I do not have that ability without having the rifle. The pictured conversion works great with BH but I can not guarantee it will be any cleaner than a factory plug.

Ron made me the one that looks like the 1st plug in Sabotloaders picture. It works flawlessly. Send Ron a message about fixing one up for you. His powder pocket plug is my favorite design as it looks and ignites just like my Omega's plugs.
