Howdy: I've been researching the board and there appears there are after market breech plugs available for some muzzy's that are more BH209 friendly. Is there an after market breech plug made for the Encore or is the supplied TC factory plug considered fine for use with BH209? Thanx!!!

TC's breech plugs are indeed very BH209 friendly however your other post says you got a .45 Bergara Encore barrel. Totally different breech plug. Good Luck!

Yes, I guess I didn't realize the Bergara plug would be different from the TC. Next ? Could I buy a TC plug and it would interchange to the Bergara? Our is there an after market plug available for the Bergara that is more compatible w/BH209 then the plug supplied by Bergara? Thanks

The plugs are NOT interchangable. Your breech plug depends on what barrel you got. Old Bergara Encore barrels take the same plug as the CVA Accura that require a socket to install. The new barrels have the hand screw in breech plugs which the new Accura V2 uses. They can both be modified to shoot better with BH209.
