I went to the property we hunt (only place I have to shoot longer yardages) to try and get everything dialed in for our deer season. I have a Burris ballistic plex scope on this gun. I think that I can have the 200 yd, second hash as a zero and be really really close to dead on with my 100 main crosshair and 300 3rd hash. The hard rain came in and forced me to stop my shooting. I did not get to confirm my 100 yd, but did get my 200 set and shot 3 at 300 that I am good with, other than my 3rd shot I'll blame that one on the rain dripping in my eyes, that was my last shot and I packed everything up. I'm going back down tomorrow to finish with my gun and my sons' Last week at 100 I was 3-1/2" high with my main crosshair Yesterday I set a target at 200 and moved the scope down and left(12 clicks down) to where I thought I needed to be for 200 with the second hash. Two shots and two more small scope adjustments and I got this, and it made me smile I then moved to 300 and fired 3 with the 3rd hash. Other than obvious shooter error I'm very happy with these also. After a verify my 100 tomorrow, (should be close) this one is ready to hunt

IMO, those are outstanding results. Though both the 200SST and 195B are great bullets, IMO, you've chosen the right bullet and are getting great results with it, ESP @ 300 yds. You might even consider staying with your single powder load also.

You might even consider staying with your single powder load also. LOL. I don't know what kind of speed I'm getting with my load but seems like it will do everything I need it to do. We'll see some real world results next week on some deer. I just can't get over how easy these Pacnor's are to get shooting well compared to what I had to go through when they were 50's. Nothing has really changed with these guns but the barrel

Nice shooting Lundy! I am going to put on a post from this past Tuesdays shooting but 60 gr. of N-120 from my 26" barrel gave 2700 fps. Yours was what? 25"? Probably with the two extra grains of powder but shorter barrel I would "guesstimate" probably mid to upper 2700's. Richard

Thanks for the FPS ballpark Richard.
We finished up today by verifying the 100 yd main crosshair.
So we ended up with main 1" high at 100, 2nd hash zero 200, 3rd hash 2" low at 300
Had my son shoot a few at 200 today with his gun to verify my work and all is good except for the steady 15 MPH crosswind that moved the group 6" right. I don't remember the BO, that I had been shooting in my 50, moving that much with the wind, but maybe they did.
Season starts Monday morning.
Thanks
