This Florida boy leaves Friday for Meigs County Ohio for the Ohio gun season. Last year those hills (mountains to me) just about killed me. The highest thing we have in Florida are the 65 ft. bridges over the ICW. I have been working out since July, lost 15 lbs , walking 4 miles and riding my bike 20 miles a day, 3 times a week, should be ready.
Last trip to the range today, one shot out of the savage at 100, 2 inches high. Put the gun away till Monday. Also shot my Knight Disc elite 45cal got it right where it needs to be also.
Loads for both guns are as: Both Fed 209a primers 10ml- 58 gr. N-120, Harvester RCR sabot , Barnes 275 XPB knurled Disc 45- 85 Gr. weighed BH209, Barnes 40 cal `195, tan mmp sabot, the tan works better for me in this gun rather than the blue harvester sabot The Disc has the Lehigh Gen ll BP/bolt conversion very clean shooter. I will take the first one with the Savage then go after a second with the Knight.
will leave the day after Thanksgiving set up two ground blinds close to a pond and a well travelled lumber tote road. Last year it snowed while in the woods.
going for a doe first I will be like Herman and try for a head shot. ;D

Mike,
Good luck with your trip to my state.
Forecast calls for 3-4 days or rain next week, not as much fun as the snow stuff last year.
I'll be in Athens County all week, hope you kill a big one.
