What if any effect does extreme cold temps (0 degrees) have on ignition or load performance when hunting in weather like this?

We are hunting in the morning - suppose to be 8*... we do nothing special at all - just keep the powder dry and use a good ignition system...

Even if you have concerns about POI with the super cold weather, you can always settle your nerves and give it a go.
I personally prefer shooting in cold weather. Less barrel cool down time.

When hunting you may not want to bring the gun in and out of the warm/cold to avoid condensation and scope fogging. Before the hunt i just make extra sure there is zero oil or anything else on/in the breach plug besides metal and pop a primer or two. Mainly because if im going to freeze my butt off, im not taking any chances.

That is a very good point about not bringing your gun inside.Make certain your breech plug clean and dry when you load your hunting charge.
