My Dad is 88 yoa and called my over to the house last night. He told me that he needed to "Clear out some stuff". He handed me a Marlin lever gun in 35 Remington with a half mag tube. I'd always wanted the gun but just thought I'd wait till he was done with it. Kind of a neat side note he told me to read the serial #. It was W 1964 My first and last initial and the year I was born.
Wounder if that's why he hung on to it all these years? Because you can't hunt deer in this area with it. And as far as I know the only thing he killed with it was two frozen milk jugs. Nice gun in 99% condition. Warren

Wow, what a nice heirloom with special personal meaning to you.
Take it to MO someday......they'll let ya use it down there.....or what the heck, take it to the southern two tiers of counties during the CF antlerless season!

I've been looking for a reason to go to southern Iowa for the late rifle season. Got it in some better light and it's not 98% like I thought but it's a solid 90%. Still a good looking gun. Warren
