First off, I'm relatively new here and wanted to thank everyone for helping to get me started. Also a special thanks to Boarhog for getting me started with the various bullets and sabots. You guys are all very helpful.
Secondly, I went on my first hunting excursion this past weekend and managed to harvest a doe and a coyote. I was hunting on my buddy's property so I had to abide by his rules and ended up passing on a nice spike and 6pt (8 or above on their land), however I still came home with some meat and a nice coyote pelt. Both animals dropped at the POI and I was very impressed when the bullets hit their mark on each occasion. Attached are a couple of pictures so enjoy. Hopefully next week I'll be posting pics of a nice buck.
Thanks to all and best of luck this season.
Mike
