Most people know how heavy a Knight LRH can be so here is the solution i tried after another member tried a similar conversion. LRH 52cal in a Knight Elite stock, Lehigh NFPJ and a little Simmons ProDiamond scope. Its still no light weight but pretty close to an Extreme 50. I added a SST type loading jag to the ramrod and it is a perfect flush "witness" on a unloaded barrel but is still below flush outside the barrel. This weekend it will go head to head on the bench against my Savage with similar .458 and maybe .475 bullets and using velocities as closely as i can duplicate with 5744, Re7 and BH209 loads in the Savage. I will be using a more powerful scope on the Savage also since its the only extra i have atm but will be limiting it to just 50yards the first round. Both new barrels have been lightly polished and treated with Montana Extreme Bore Conditioner.
