Good day Gentlemen, just curious if anyone has some thoughts of the Harvester Scorpion PT Gold 300 grain bullet along with their black crushed rib sabot? I am shooting a stock 10ML11 and have tried a Barnes Original 300 grain with orange MMP sabots, and AA 5744. We worked our loads up and found that 44 grains gave us the tightest group. Then I heard about the Harvester sabot and thought I would try the also. Anyone who has shot this combination I would sure like to hear some feedback. Thanks Guys

The black crush rib with a .451-.452 bullet is too loose in most Savages. They are so loose they work well with a .458 bullet. The Scorpion PT Gold is a Rainier plated bullet and smacked too hard may over obturate. When I shot a few you had to watch for the plastic tips falling off during loading.
