Are thay and if they are which models, for how much, and where can you buy them. I would love to buy a Disk Elite if they are selling them again.
Thanks, Arthur

Knight has never stopped selling barrels. Muzzleloaders will not be for sale until January or February 2011.

Thanks, Grouse for the info. If you are so inclined, would you please give me your opinion.
Do you think once Knight starts producing MLs for sale the NIB or used but in excellent condition Elites still for sale out there will go DOWN in price or UP in price?
I am looking to buy 1-2 Elites (as I strongly feel Knight made the best OTC Non-SM ML ever) for my sons to use for hunting and need to do so within my limited budget, and I am not willing to buy the foreign made MLs no matter how cheap they cost.
I had a chance to shoot a .50 cal Elite using BH209, and was tremendously impressed with it's performance.
Thank you, Arthur.

The Knight Elite is the best ML ever made in my opinion with a Lehigh conversion. Nobody is even remotely close in my opinion. I would not wait, and buy as soon as you can afford it. The Elite 45's are awesome as well.

I love my Elite 45. The balance is just awesome. IMO the better Knight does the more interest people will have in any Knight. Nice older models like Elites might even go up a bit. Hopefully i will be putting a 52 LRH barreled action in a stock tomorrow.

artjr338wmYou wont be sorry. IMO they are one of if not the best 209 primered ML ever built. Get the Lehigh NFPJ conversion ($39.50) and find whichever primer shoots the cleanest. My Elite 45 has almost no blowby with Win209s and accuracy is fantastic with almost anything i feed it. My Elite 45 handles more like a centerfire than a ML and is a pleasure to carry for a full sized gun. Im not sure if you will get the same "feeling" from an Elite 50 but the barrel contour seems to make them handle really nice. My 52cal LRH barreled action and sabots are sitting at UPS since it didnt go to my shipping address at work, so im a bit bummed out atm. UPS isnt open on Saturdays either and i cant go pick it up. I heard they had some so i had to have one to try one out. The folks at Knight are still VERY helpful and very grateful for our continued support during these rough times. IMO Knight will make a good come back as long as they keep people like Al, Sam and Gordy on the payroll and offer models that made a Knight a Knight.

What is a Lehigh conversion? It converts Extreme and Elite type Knights to a non FPJ system. You wont need the jackets anymore and it is extremely clean with the right primers. Each gun will have a primer preference but all of mine love the Win209s, Fed209As and WinT7s. It also works 100% with BH209 powder and has replaceable vent liners aka flash hole. They will likely never wear out and the quality is grade A. IMO it is MUCH better than Knights older NFPJ conversion. If you have an original DISC, you will need an Extreme bolt for the conversion.

Talked with Gordy today and there all about customer service and they are going to continue making Knight rifles. There going to release a new model after the first of the year called the Mountianeer. Spelling could be wrong. He said they are going back to the basic quality designs that got Knight started an was of high quality. When I asked him if they would be making smokeless he said no. He also said Savage announced in November they weren't going to make smokless ML anymore. Knight products is the way to go. Lehigh bullets is also making bullets for Knight that will be released after the first of the year. A lot of ggod things going for Knight. They have my vote.
