I have been working on some R/7 loads and so far this is what i have got, 65g R/7, 300g Remington, BCR sabot, CCI primer, 4 shots at 147 yards, The 1st shot left is with a clean barrel, and the next 3 are fouled. It was 67 degrees and quite windy. This is as far as I can shoot at the range. My scope is a Leapold 3-9x40 variable, and has held up nice after about 100 or so shots

I hunted with same combo last year with my .50. It proved to be both accurate and deadly. Killed a buck at 200+ yds DRT....I think it was going about 2250fps. Good luck Zen
